This qualification is an introductory qualification to the automotive retail, service and repair industries and an entry to further training.

This is a Board Endorsed Course for students in Years 9 or 10.
UNITS
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 8 units of competency:
- 5 core units; plus
- 3 elective units.

- AURASA001 Apply automotive workplace safety fundamentals
- AURETR103 Identify automotive electrical systems and components

- AURPTA101 Carry out pre-repair operations to outdoor power equipment
- AURAFA002 Read and respond to automotive workplace information
- AURAFA001 Use numbers in an automotive workplace
