This qualification reflects the role of individuals with the skills and knowledge to perform varied activities in the creative industries. It applies to work in different work environments including entertainment customer service, staging, television and radio production, broadcasting production, lighting and sound, screen and media, and film production. Job roles may include Trainee Production Crew, Radio Production Assistant, Crewing Employee, and Sound Assistant.

This is a Board Endorsed Course and therefore has no HSC examination.

To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 10 units of competency:

  • 3 core units; plus
  • 7 elective units.
