This course provides students with the knowledge and skills to work in community service as a volunteer. This qualification is recognised as an entry-level qualification for volunteer workers, under direct and regular supervision within clearly defined guidelines.

Job opportunities may include Community work, Event Volunteer, and work within charities.

HSC INFORMATION

This is a Board Endorsed Course and therefore has no HSC examination.

UNITS
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 7 units of competency:

  • 4 core units; plus
  • 3 elective units.
