This qualification provides a trade outcome in plumbingThis course may be available as a 380-hour course for school-based apprentices only, or a 240-hour course for a Statement of Attainment towards CPC32420 Certificate III in Plumbing. School-based apprentices complete the first year of their apprenticeship at school, then they transfer their enrolment to TAFE post-school.


HSC INFORMATION
This is a Board Endorsed Course and therefore has no HSC examination.


UNITS
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 58 units of competency:

  • 43 core units; plus
  • 15 elective units.

  • CPCPWT3029 Install water pipe systems
  • CPCPFS3031 Fabricate and install fire hydrant and hose reel systems
